THURSDAY 14

Anytime till 3 pm Saturday.  Build a snow sculpture and enter the big prize contest.   Build along the Bear River waterfront or at your home (to build at your home you must be in the Bear River area.) 5:30 pm till end of winter Rink Opens.  Free skating behind Bear River Legion.

FRIDAY 15

6:30-8:00 pm. Winter Wonderland Pre-teen Dance.  @ Oakdene Centre. Age primary to grade 6. Cost: $3.00 or $2.00 with food bank donation. Refreshments, prizes and give aways available.  Dances Hosted by 1st Digby Pathfinders.  Contact Heather Charlton 467-3269.

7:00 -9:00 pm  Myrtle & Rosies Open Mike Night.  Free.  Live local music!  Downtown Main St. Bear River

1:00 – 4:00 pm Carnival Cooking Contest.  Free. Open to all.  Enter early by phone or at Oakdene from 1:00pm to 1:30 pm. 8:00 am – 4:00 pm A Gentle Cross Country Ski Over 7 Lakes. Trip 10.75 miles or 17.3 Km Bring your own lunch and water.  Meet at Bear River Fire Hall at 8am.  Contact: Sue Comeau  467-3258 allwaysgardening@ns.sympatico.ca
