There have been artist studios in picturesque Bear River for many years but now they are easier to find. Signage throughout the area direct you right to the studios where you can browse and buy art directly from the artists. You will find wood turned bowls and art forms, paper maché sculptures, pottery, fine arts and craft, jewelry, carved wooden bowls, tables, textile art, quilts, Windsor chairs and more….
You can pick up a brochure at visitor information centres as well as many locations throughout the province. All studios are within 10 minutes or less of the village. Check the brochure for studio hours, or email the studios you want to visit for an appointment. A café and restaurant are in the village for breakfast or lunch and there are 2 wineries close by to visit. Lodging is also available.
