The Bear River Community Greenhouse and Waterfront Gardens Committee
(a committee of the Bear River Board of Trade) is pleased to offer this rare and exciting opportunity for community citizens to buy an annual greenhouse membership.
Your  4′ x 8′ x 18” high raised planting-ready bed includes premium certified organic soil for the spring 2017 growing season.

This opportunity will be offered on a first come first served basis.  Applicants must be 18 years or older and show up in person between 1-4 pm on March 18th upstairs at the Rebekah (or send a proxy on your behalf if you cannot make it).
There will be a limit of one bed per household but if there are any left at the end of the day and you have selected that on your application form, a second bed will be offered to you.
We are able to offer the amazing annual price of $50. Our successful fund-raising and hard work of committee members and volunteers, has meant a retrofit of the building, the creation of raised planting beds, and a lowered cost to you. $50 (cash, money order or cheque) must accompany your application form. For those who cannot afford that fee we also have a few sponsored beds allocated on a confidential basis for those who indicate a need.

Our goal is to garden organically in the greenhouse. The details and membership expectations will be discussed in a follow-up orientation session. Detailed handouts will be available that outline the mission statement, guidelines and membership requirements.

Mar 18th membership afternoon will include a “Seedy Saturday”.  If you have saved Heritage seeds, please bring them along to swap with your neighbours.  Ashley from Hope Seeds will be available that day offering their line of organic seeds for sale.WE WELCOME ONE AND ALL TO THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY AND LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU ON THE 18TH IN BEAR RIVER!Kris Murdock and Carol Dibble
